Elite Singles is a niche dating app that caters to singles who are highly educated or work in high-income, professional job fields. They set up shop in 2013 and have become so popular over the years that they had to begin putting a cap on how many new members they could take each month!

Now with around 381,000 new members being admitted each month, Elite Singles is the epicenter of online singles who work in fields like medicine, law, education, or business and singles. Elite Single is one of the best places in the market to find those who are career-driven, motivated, and highly successful in what they do.

Rating Elite Singles Dating Site

What is the verdict of our Elite Singles review?

Overall Rating

3.4/5

Elite Singles is far from being an ideal dating app. In our Elite Singles review, we have seen plenty of chinks in the armor and flies in the ointment despite what we like and appreciate about the site.

Cost

4.3/5

Elite Singles is one of the more expensive choices of dating apps out there in 2023, with monthly prices beginning at $57.95.

Features

3.5/5

Elite Singles has some basic features for being as pricey as they are. The “Have You Met?” feature allows for swipe-style of online dating, and they do feature unlimited messaging capabilities for premium members.

Usability

4.7/5

Both the online website and the mobile app versions of Elite Singles are extremely easy to use! The interface could use a good update, but it is still user-friendly, nonetheless

Quality Matches

2.5/5

Because Elite Single uses such in-depth personality quizzing, they are able to turn out some fairly good matches. There are, however, a lot of fake profiles on the site (we will cover this more later on).

Active Users

2.2/5

Elite Single has a fairly large user base for customers to find good, eligible singles for serious relationships. They take on around 381,000 new members every month, so it is a dating app that people are eager to join.

In order to bring you the most honest and accurate appraisal of Elite Singles, we have decided to list out the top pros and cons we have found:

How to Sign Up at Elite Singles

We took the time to go through the Elite Singles sign-up process. It took us around 15-20 minutes to complete, but we could see some people taking around 25 minutes. It all depends on how detailed you want to go with some of your answers.

Step #1: Visit the Home Page

The sign-up process begins by visiting the Elite Singles homepage. You begin by selecting your gender and the gender of the singles you are looking for. Provide an email address and create a unique password. This will serve as your future Elite Singles login information.

Read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy and agree to them. Once everything is filled out, hit the yellow “Get Started” button.

Step #2: Personality Quizzing

We found that most of the sign-up was comprised of the personality quiz. And was this quiz ever detailed and in-depth!

We are not going to go over each and every step of the sign-up process because it would be way too long and exhaustive. Instead, we will give you some examples of the type of questions we found along the way.

These were the first few questions that we got in the early stages of the questionnaire. These were the ones where you did not have to think too much. They all came in multiple choice with no written answer type questions.

  • Confirm your gender.

  • Confirm the gender of your desired partner.

  • What is your marital status?

  • What is your level of education?

  • How important are education level and intelligence in a partner?

  • Enter Your Name

  • Where Do You Live

  • How Far Will You Travel?

  • When Were You Born?

  • What is Your Profession?

  • What Income Bracket Do You Fall Into?

Again, these were questions that were pretty easy to answer. Most of them were multiple choice, but they definitely got a bit more detailed and required some more thoughtful responses.

  • How tall are you?

  • How important is it that you’re taller than your partner?

  • What ethnic group do you belong to?

  • Do you have an ethnic preference?

  • How important is ethnicity in a partner?

  • Are you satisfied with your appearance?

  • How important is it that your partner is attractive?

  • What best describes your beliefs?

  • What religious beliefs are you open to?

  • How important is your partner’s religion?

  • Which role would you like your partner to fulfill?

There were a bunch of questions that pertained more to behavioral patterns and what you would do when faced with certain situations or circumstances. There were typically no written answers to these kinds of questions.

  • What does your date notice the most on a first date?

  • How likely are you to initiate the first kiss?

  • What weekend plans are you most likely to make? How important is it to reconcile quickly with your partner?

  • How do you respond to your partner showing up late for a date?

There were also a lot of questions where you were given a bunch of choices, and you could either select as many that applied to you or you might be capped off at a certain amount (select only four items).

Elite Singles “Select All That Apply” Questions Screenshot 2

With this series of questions, you were given a statement, and then you have to react from a list of 7 different responses (they are listed below under ‘possible responses).

  • I have a strong desire for sex.

  • I believe monogamy is essential in a relationship.

  • I consider myself to be optimistic.

  • I make time for others.

  • I pay attention to detail.

  • I get upset easily.

  • I like a great deal of variety.

Possible Responses

  • Doesn’t apply at all

  • Doesn’t really apply

  • Applies to a lesser extent

  • Slightly applies

  • Applies to some extent

  • Applies mostly

  • Completely applicable

Then there were some questions where you are presented with four images, and you had to choose which one appeals more to you than the others.

Step #4: Add a Photo

Elite Singles Add a Photo Screenshot

This is the next step, and you can skip it for the time being if you want. You will always get another chance later to add a good photo of yourself.

Step #5: Icebreakers

Elite Singles Icebreakers Screenshot

Elite Singles will send you some prompts for icebreaker questions that will appear on your online profile. In the example above, you are prompted, “How I describe myself,” and you can answer with a written response.

You can click on the white “Next Question” button to get another prompt. You can add as many of these to your profile as you want! These icebreakers can give other singles a better idea of your personality and flair!

Step #6: Choose a Membership Plan

Once you have complete the questionnaire, added a photo of yourself, and completed the icebreakers, the next step in the process is to choose a membership that suits your needs. Once you have picked one that strikes your fancy, click the green “Continue” button to proceed to checkout.

Step #7: Check Out

This is the final step, where you input your payment method. Once this information is presented to Elite Single, you can begin using your new membership!

Elite Singles Cost

When you go to join Elite Singles, you will have your choice of three membership plans. The 6-month and 12-month memberships come with the same features and benefits, so the difference in price is going to be based on the membership length. Elite Singles Membership Features

Once you have paid for a membership with Elite Singles, these are the features and benefits that you will be able to enjoy. These features remain the same across each membership plan.

Elite Singles Free Trial

If you want to give Elite Singles a try before committing to dishing out for a membership, there is a limited free trial that new customers can use to get a feel for the site and the type of singles that they could potentially meet.

The Elite Single’s “free trial” is not much of a free trial as it is the ability to use a few of the functions and features of the dating app free of charge. You are not going to be able to do everything that Elite Singles was made to do, so your ability to use the app is going to be fairly limited.

Free Trial Features

While you can upload photos to your own profile, you are not going to be able to view the photos on other profiles. You will, however, be able to read the information on someone’s profile (interests, appearance, work, etc.) as well as the results of their personality testing.

Is Elite Singles Worth It?

We cannot say for certain if Elite Singles will be worth it for you specifically. What we can do, however, is present you with five really good reasons why Elite Single might be a good fit and five really good reasons that you are better off going with another dating app. Elite Singles might be worth it if you find yourself agreeing with the reasons to join!

5 Reasons to Join Elite Singles

Elite Singles is a terrific dating app for finding such singles, so if this is what you are looking for in the online dating experience, then this might be the dating app for you! 85% of the members at Elite Singles hold some sort of higher education degree or above-average certification. The entire dating app is comprised of members who work in fields like law, medicine, and business.

There are so many dating apps now that allow users to swipe left or right for singles that they like and the singles they do not like. And Elite Singles is no different. They have the “Have We Met?” feature that allows for just that style of online dating. If this swipe style is a must for you, Elite Singles might be totally worth your time and money!

Elite Singles has over 2 million members worldwide, and they admit around 381,000 new members every month! This means that there is a significant dating pool for members to draw from, leaving the door wide open for a good amount of possibilities. If you need a dating app where you can find plenty of singles, Elite Single might be worth it for you!

If you are looking for a dating app where you do not have to do too much thinking when you use and navigate the interface and menus, Elite Singles is going to be the perfect dating app for you. There is a lot of simplicity in its overall design and in the nature of the features. With the simplicity, though, Elite Singles does sacrifice good, interesting features and an updated appearance for the site interface.

Elite Singles does a thorough job of making sure each of its customers goes through some detailed personality testing. This all pays off with what we think is some decent matchmaking between singles who use the app! Elite Singles is perfect for finding serious relationships where compatibility is key!

5 Reasons to Keep Looking

Our Elite Singles review definitely showed us that they are one of the pricier dating apps out there on the market. The starting price per month is $57.95. If you are looking to save some money, we would suggest checking out another dating app that is more affordable.

For being a dating app that caters to the “elite,” it certainly does not contain a lot of elite features. In fact, the features here are pretty run-of-the-mill! The most exciting thing that Elite Singles brings to the table is their unlimited messaging and the swipe-style of dating with the “Have We Met?” feature. If you want a lot of bells and whistles, you should probably look elsewhere.

As with any dating app, there are going to be some fake profiles sitting around Elite Singles that you are going to deal with sooner or later. But it seems that Elite Singles has not really kept on top of these the way they should be. There are a lot of reports of members being matched up with fake accounts or customers being pestered by spam accounts.

Like it or not, Elite Singles has a thorough and time-consuming sign-up process for its members. If you want to have your account up and running in 5 to 10 minutes, it is simply not going to happen at Elite Singles. If you do not want to put in more time than you need to create a new account, we definitely recommend checking out another dating app.

Elite Singles is all about letting its customers troubleshoot their way through problems or issues. They have a comprehensive FAQ page for reference, and there are generic contact forms that customers can use to write messages to the service and support center. However, responses are not given right away. They could take up to 24 hours. If you want fast customer service, Elite Singles might not be a dating app worth the time and money.

“It’s unfortunate to see so many negative reviews. I signed up a little over 4 years ago. I immediately found matches. Went on MANY great dates. Found a great person that wasn’t in my area, but kept chatting. Now we are engaged and are very happy together. Not sure what went wrong for others, but my experience was nearly flawless.”

“The quantity of paying members is minimal, so your options of someone close to your area is very small, perhaps 2 to 4 in your city. That is for a month. Also, the site is full of scam members with fake profiles with who knows what intentions. Previous to joining the site I did my research and found excellent reviews, for sure they are fake. I just wrote this information so other people save their money and disappointment.”

“Despite an exhaustive personality inventory, the matching algorithm is weak. For instance it appears to find a strong match on profiles that say almost nothing because there is a single common generic interest (e.g. cooking).

It’s not “elite” either (maybe good, maybe bad, but don’t be surprised).

The real problem is “woke” censorship of your profile. Even non-offensive things get censored. I had a big chunk of my ad deleted for (apparently) saying I enjoyed walks in the woods more than drag shows.

[Updated: upon appeal they reversed the decision and allowed my profile to be posted] One strength of the site is the ability to indicate the degree of your preference in different categories.”

“It’s a huge waste of money. The UX on their site and app leave MUCH to be desired. The quality of matches was not good- I kept getting these “try something outside of the box” suggestions for men 25-30 years older than me (no, thanks!) or guys that lived well outside of my preferred range. There were frequent reports of scammers/catfishing from the company saying to avoid particular users after being reported, so at least they were policing things, but yeah...not great. Had more connections with free sites tbh.”

“Joined this website was a half year ago, was not going to renew the membership after the due date but they renewed it without my consent, even-thought with the cancellation message I got from them as a proof, but they wont return the money back to me no matter what! Leaving my comments here just let the others to aware of it, or don’t even use it as there is very litter chance you will meet the right person from this site.”

“I tried it. Super boring profiles. Couldn’t write anything in my own profile that had any kind of edge to it--it would get rejected. And I’m not talking grotesque or pornographic stuff. But I wouldn’t match with someone who didn’t have a similar sense of humor. Go there for an arranged marriage maybe. What a waste of money.”
